ð?? Position Overview:
Were looking for an experienced Accountant who can manage the full accounting function in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Work in Progress (WIPs), and will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency.
â?? Key Responsibilities:
Full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting Costing and analysis of manufacturing processes Management and maintenance of BOMs and WIPs Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Liaising with Auditors and ensuring compliance with financial regulations Supporting operational teams with financial insights
ð??? Minimum Requirements:
BCom Degree in Accounting Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles Minimum 35 years experience in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of costing, BOMs, and WIPs Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
