Qualification- Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Food or Chemical Science or TechnologyRequirements
- Quality Control and Lab Testing experience in a malting plant or brewery
- Malting-testing experience is essential
- Standard Chemical and Physical Analyses
- Practical experience and knowledge of FSSC 22000 / BRC / AIB StandardsDuties
- Analyze Raw materials (malt and hops)
- Analyze moisture content, extract, damage index, colour, concentration and sensory (taste)
- Analyze wort for Limit of Extract (LE) and alpha-glucans
- Collect yeast and Made Yeast cake to use for fermentation and monitor fermentation stages
- Experience with laboratory software
- Understanding of quality control and assurance processes.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data accurately
- Adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
