Industrial Engineer

The ideal candidate will play a key role in improving operational efficiency, streamlining production processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives through the use of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
    
    

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage process improvement projects within the plastics manufacturing environment.

• Analyse workflows, production schedules, and resource use to identify areas of improvement.

• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to minimize waste and enhance product quality.

• Design and implement process optimization plans that align with organizational goals.

• Support and train engineering teams on industry best practices and standards.

• Collaborate across departments to coordinate and execute process enhancement initiatives.

• Track and evaluate key performance indicators, initiating corrective actions as needed.

• Investigate and recommend emerging technologies and innovations relevant to the sector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (Master’s advantageous).

• At least 8 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within plastics manufacturing.

• Strong background in process improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Team-oriented with the ability to work cross-functionally.

• Proficiency in CAD tools and Microsoft Office applications.
