Our client, a prestigious 5-star game lodge is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and smooth running of all infrastructure, equipment, and systems on the property. This includes managing preventative maintenance, coordinating repairs, and leading a small team to ensure the lodge remains in pristine condition and guest-ready at all times. Key Responsibilities:- Manage and execute maintenance schedules for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems
- Supervise and train a small team of maintenance staff
- Ensure all guest-facing and operational areas are maintained to luxury standards
- Conduct regular inspections and promptly resolve issues
- Manage service contractors and suppliers
- Uphold health and safety regulations
- Minimum 4 years' maintenance management experience, in a lodge or hotel environment
- Trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of general building systems and infrastructure
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with excellent planning skills
- Comfortable working in remote bush settings
- Valid driver’s license essential
