We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Pretoria
Role: Civil Engineer (Water)
Industry: Water Engineering & Infrastructure
Level: Senior/Experienced Professional (7+ years)
Key Requirements:
- B.Eng. degree (post-graduate qualification in water engineering advantageous)
- 7+ years technical and practical experience in water engineering projects
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, IDAS, EPANET (minimum 6 consecutive years)
- Basic working knowledge of Revit Modelling for valve chambers and pump stations
- Eligible for ECSA Pr. Eng registration within 1 year or already applied
- Technical expertise in bulk potable water pipelines, sewer systems, pump stations and associated infrastructure
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites within South Africa and Africa
- Excellent command of business communication
Personal Attributes:
- Appreciation and enthusiasm for bulk water and waste water engineering with eagerness to grow into a Senior Water Engineer
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Person of integrity who subscribes to engineering ethics
- Ability to build and retain healthy relationships with stakeholders
