Position Overview:
The Electrical Assistant will provide essential support to the Quality Technician in performing internal testing and quality assurance on various electrical systems, including MCCs, DBs, Control Panels, and PLC Panels. This role involves both office and fieldwork, assisting with paperwork, test schedules, and travelling to client sites for fault finding and functionality testing. Over time, the candidate will be trained to become a full member of the quality team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality Technician with internal testing and quality assurance.
- Travel with the Quality Technician to sites for fault finding and testing.
- Prepare and compile Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) files, including relevant test reports.
- Assist with paperwork and maintain testing schedules.
- Learn and develop technical skills, transitioning from assistant to a fully integrated team member.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage stress.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to various sites.
