Area Sales Representative (Pharmaceuticals) (JB5499)

R25 – 30 000 basic per month + fuel card + uncapped commission

Looking for a confident and self-motivated sales professional to drive direct sales of a generic (GX) product range to independent pharmacies and dispensing doctors across the East Rand. This role is relationship-heavy, results-driven, and ideal for someone who thrives in a territory with no formulary support and no corporate crutches.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or degree (science, healthcare, or business-related preferred)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in direct pharmaceutical sales to independent practices
Experience with RepWise and SSV software
Valid driver’s licence, reliable car, and willingness to travel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident, energetic, and results-oriented
Able to plan and manage own sales cycle effectively
Driven, presentable, and able to build lasting relationships in the field
Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
Conduct face-to-face visits and relationship-building with pharmacies and GPs
Manage territory through structured planning, targeted customer calls, and activity tracking
Promote products, resolve customer queries, and ensure excellent service delivery
Maintain accurate reporting, customer records, and compliance with SOPs
