We are seeking an experienced Chemical Mixer to join our cleaning chemicals manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical mixing and formulation, with leadership experience in a high-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the mixing and formulation of cleaning chemicals to meet quality and safety standards.
- Managing production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to regulations.
- Leading and supervising a large team, providing guidance and performance management.
- Ensuring compliance with SABS and other relevant industry standards.
- Implementing safety protocols and maintaining quality control throughout production.
- Handle a wider range of materials, including those with higher viscosities, sticky substances and semi-solids, potentially leading to more complex mixing processes.

· Mathematical Skills: Ability to accurately measure and calculate chemical additions.
· Safety Awareness: Deep knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to chemical handling.
· Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
· Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues during the mixing process.
· Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· I nventory Knowledge: Experience with inventory management, cycle counts ect.
· Minimum 5 years chemical mixing experience.
· Experience in managing a team, ensuring quality control, and maintaining safety standards are also crucial.
· Accurately blending and measuring chemicals to create specific products.
