Description:
The successful candidate will need to manage our Gauteng region (Jhb/Edenvale and 2 satelite sites, i.e. one in Benoni and the other in Pretoria. The Branch Manager/General Mnager will be responsible for the branch performance, capital and human resources in order to acheive above average returns for the company in this region. The successful incumbent will be required to manage a Workforce in excess of 60 staff, including herein is the Branch Factory Manager, Branch Sales Manager, Logistics Manager, Book Keeper, Quality and HSE Officers.
Requirements:
- Decisiveness: 5 to 6 years
- Managerial Skills: 5 to 6 years
- Motivated Self-Starter: 5 to 6 years
Grade 12/or Equivalent qualification, B Degree/or business/commercial qualification; 5-10 years general middle/to senior management experience, preferably in a manufacturing/jobbing type of enviroment. The successful candidate must be able to inspire ordinary people to achieve extra ordinary results to affect the business positively.
Knowledge/Skills
General/ Commercial Management Skills; Sales & Marketing Skills are crucial; Financial & Production controls(Inventory, Cash, Debtors, Creditors), Logistics, Sales and Marketing, SHEQ and HR; Strong commercial, operational and business acumen; Proficient in customer relations; Proficient in MS Office Excell & Syspro and/or equivalent ERP system; People skills, including managing a diverse workforce is an essential attribute;
