How you'll role
As a Junior Accountant / Creditors Clerk, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and administrative accounts. You will handle daily administrative tasks, manage supplier accounts, and assist with general accounting work. This role is pivotal in maintaining seamless financial operations and supporting the Finance Manager with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll do
- Process and reconcile supplier accounts while maintaining strong supplier relationships and terms
- Prepare monthly supplier payments and issue supplier remittances
- Resolve supplier queries promptly
- Manage tasks for assistant creditor clerks and assist with other accounting duties
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support the Financial Manager with ad-hoc financial tasks and manage intercompany and intergroup transactions
Requirements:

- Excel: 3 to 4 years
- Accounting Principles: 5 to 6 years
- Creditor Experience: 5 to 6 years
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Extensive knowledge of Pastel software
- Strong mathematical skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with large creditor accounts and transactions
- Own vehicle and driver’s license
