Description:
This role is based in Cape Town and perfect for a dynamic Senior Marketing Manager who enjoys working in a small but dynamic team. The role involves overseeing market research, brand management and digital marketing, advertising campaigns and overall marketing initiatives to ensure business growth and brand positioning entrenchment.
If you have Retail / FMCG experience it will be advantageous, but not necessarily.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or related field. Postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years experience in Marketing, with at least 5 years at a similar management level.
- Proven experience in Marketing Management, with a successful track record of marketing campaigns which have postively impacted brand and business performance
- Proven experience in full agency management.
- Experience in mastering digital marketing tools, analytics and branding strategies.
- Valid driver''s license with own transportations
- Must be willing to travel as requested Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
- Drive and manage the innovation strategy of the brand
- Plan and oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring effectiveness and return on investment
- Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth
- Manage the creation of marketing materials, including digital content, adverts, and promotional collateral
- Manage all agency contracts and ensure relationships are effectively managed
- Manage the brand look and feel across all channels
- Manage the packaging design process ensuring artwork is in line with the brand guidelines as well as ensuring legal compliance
- LEad end to end project management and communication for marketing and cross functional initiatives, including NPD, ensuring milestones are met and objectives achieved.
- Review and optimise processes where applicable and roll out the refined process to the business
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency in messaging across all channels
- Coordinate with sales, product development and other departments to align marketing efforts
- Oversee the consumer complaintes communication
- Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics to optimise strategies
- Manage the category and brand profitability
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI
