Technical Sales Representative – Backup Power & Energy Solutions
Full-Time | Based in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

We provide critical power solutions to corporate clients, municipalities, facilities managers, and consulting engineers across the Western Cape.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Build and manage relationships with key clients (corporate, municipal, FM, etc.)
- Conduct on-site assessments and tailor technical solutions to client needs
- Generate and follow up on leads, quotes, and sales orders
- Design solutions using compatible components and current stock availability
- Promote our full range of back-up power solutions and stay updated on industry trends
- Handle RFQs, tenders, and formal proposals
- Provide after-sales support and regular client check-ins

- Computer Literate Experience: 3 to 4 years
- Back Up Power Experience : 1 to 2 years

- Proven B2B sales experience (technical, renewable energy, or infrastructure background preferred)
- Existing relationships with the target market with contactable references
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to simplify technical information for clients
- Knowledge of single- and three-phase UPS systems
- Experience with tender processes and RFQ submissions
- Computer literate (MS Office, Email, Internet)
- Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Own Reliable Transport
- Clear Criminal Record
- Experience in the back-up power, renewable energy sector and electrical infrastructure
