As the Accountant, youll work closely with our finance team to manage daily financial tasks, assist in preparing reports, and support broader accounting functions. This is a great opportunity to gain practical post-articles experience and grow in a professional setting.
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements Reconcile accounts and process journal entries Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors Maintain accurate financial records and documentation Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles
BCom Accounting or related degree
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g. Pastel, Xero, Sage)
Detail-oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
