A dynamic and solutions-focused business specialising in IT hardware rentals and asset management solutions is on the hunt for an experienced Account Manager. This organisation supports a fast-moving B2B sales environment, partnering closely with distribution and reseller channels to deliver tailored tech and finance solutions .
You’ll take ownership of a defined portfolio of B2B accounts, uncover new opportunities within those relationships, and help drive long-term growth . This role suits someone with a strong grasp of leasing models , an interest in IT hardware , and a proven ability to nurture key commercial partnerships.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 , or equivalent.
Relevant tertiary qualification (preferably in IT or a related field)
Completed sales training ( e.g. LAMP, Stratham Bryce or similar)
5+ years’ experience in account management, preferably in asset finance, leasing, or technology.
Proven track record managing and growing strategic B2B relationships.
Solid understanding of leasing models and IT hardware .
Experience working with resellers , distributors , or channel sales .
Strong interpersonal skills and commercial thinking.
Entrepreneurial mindset , agility, resilience, and familiarity with longer sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow revenue within a portfolio of existing client accounts.
Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to B2B clients.
Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships .
Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Coordinate delivery, pricing, and product education.
Oversee vendor relationships and assist with procurement decisions.
Monitor risks and adapt to changing client needs.
Stay informed of market trends , operational innovations, and client expectations.
Drive performance through strategic account planning and execution.
