We're working with a high-performing insurance business headquartered in Pretoria. As they gear up for further expansion and digital transformation, they're looking for a proactive Financial Manager ( Corporate Finance Analyst) to step into a pivotal role.
What's the role all about?
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll support high-impact financial projects and provide analytical firepower across budgeting, valuations, and strategic decision-making. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership and play a vital role in shaping the company's financial future.
What you'll be doing:
Overseeing financial operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality Driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles Conducting strategic analysis to support business growth and long-term value creation Supporting business valuations for investments and partnerships Preparing reports for internal stakeholders and group functions Analysing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Driving financial performance aligned with the company's strategic objectives Supporting ad hoc corporate finance initiatives across the group Collaborating closely with the CFO and Head of Finance on high-level projectsWhat we're looking for:
CA(SA), CIMA, or similar qualification preferred 3-4 years' post-articles experience in finance or corporate analysis Insurance industry experience strongly preferred (short-term ideal) Solid understanding of financial modelling, valuations, and budgeting Strong Excel skills; experience with Microsoft D365 a plus Proactive, detail-driven, and eager to grow-culture fit is keyWhat's in it for you:
