Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer’s Representative at PMax Consulting Engineers in South Africa.
The Engineer’s Representative will be responsible for overseeing periodic and special road maintenance activities and road construction activities, issuing site instructions, ensuring on-time deliveries, managing a team of site staff, and coordinating site operations efficiently.

Applicants are hereby invited to apply for the position of Engineer’s Representative within PMax Consulting Engineers to work as a member of the Roads and Stormwater Department in order to meet the requirements of the South African National Roads Agency SOC (Pty) Ltd.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office: 10 years or more
- Civil Engineering: 10 years or more
- Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma in civil engineering or related field.
- Registered as a Pr Eng, Pr Tech Eng or Pr Techni Eng.
- 10+ years minimum relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of national and local roads infrastructure regulations, standards, and practices.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Ability to prepare cost estimates for roads maintenance and construction projects.
- SANRAL Roads Maintenance and Construction Experience is an added dvantage.
