Our client, a well-established legal firm based in Sandton, is seeking a skilled Conveyancing Secretary with a minimum of 3 years’ relevant industry experience. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), possess a strong legal background, and demonstrate the ability to work independently under pressure with a high degree of accuracy. Experience with Nedbank Bond registrations will be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced, professional environment. EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent

BASIC SALARY : R30 000.00 – R37 000.00
START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of industry relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong legal background within the property or conveyancing sector
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proven ability to perform well under pressure
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Nedbank Bond processes (advantageous)

DUTIES:
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, including:
  • Sale agreements
  • Transfer documents
  • Bond documents
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and municipalities
  • Managing timelines and ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines
  • Handling Deeds Office processes, including tracking lodgements and registrations
  • Collecting and verifying FICA documentation
  • Calculating costs and preparing financial statements related to property transactions
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and correspondence
HOURS:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 16:30
  • 60-minute lunch break from 13:00 – 14:00
