Description:
Our client is one of the leading international manufacturers of chassis-related assemblies and components for trailers, trucks and buses.
- I nventory Management : Monitor and control stock levels to ensure optimal availability of parts, minimize shrinkage, and coordinate with procurement for timely restocking.
- Logistics Coordination : Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and efficient routing of parts to customers or service locations.
- Staff Supervision and Training : Manage warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Process Optimization : Implement and refine warehouse procedures, including picking, packing, and storage systems, to increase efficiency and reduce errors or delays.
- Health and Safety Compliance : Enforce safety regulations, conduct regular inspections, and ensure that all equipment and practices meet industry and legal standards.
- Basic understanding: Truck and Trailer parts
- Overseeing: Building and Maintenance
Requirements:
- 2-3 years warehouse and industry experience
- Driver’s license
- Medical Aid (half)
- Grade 12
