Underground Mechanical Foreman

One of our top mining clients, located in Gauteng, is seeking a skilled and experienced Underground Mechanical Foreman.

Requirements:

Experience Required:

• 5 - 10 years underground and surface mining experience (both experience is essential)
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the mechanical discipline within the mining industry, of which 5 years should be as an appointed
• Maintenance & Fault Finding on TMM

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (technical matric) or N3 with 4 subjects in the relevant field.
• Recognised Mechanical Trade Test Certificate (Fitter, Rigger and/or Boilermaker)
• Mechanical Foreman in an underground mining environment
• PLC and Instrumentation experience will be advantageous
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (N6) - advantageous
• Supervisory Development Programme (SDP) or equivalent – advantageous
