Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Admin Clerk to join our team at an established aviation company in Germiston. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day administrative tasks, manage communication channels, and support operational efficiency across the office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and is tech-savvy.

Key Responsibilities:


Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner


Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and internal bookings


Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management


Communicate effectively via email, phone, and WhatsApp with clients, suppliers, and internal staff


Maintain and update records, databases, and spreadsheets


Assist with office logistics and coordination of minor tasks


Support management and other departments with ad hoc admin requests


Ensure the reception and admin area is tidy, well-organized, and welcoming

Requirements:

Key Skills & Competencies Required:


Strong written and verbal communication skills


Excellent time management and organizational abilities


High level of accuracy and attention to detail


Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively


Friendly, professional, and customer-oriented demeanor


Proactive with a can-do attitude



Technical Proficiency:


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)


Competent in Google Sheets and other Google Workspace tools


Comfortable using WhatsApp for internal and external communication



Minimum Requirements:


Matric certificate (Grade 12)


Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role (aviation industry experience is advantageous)


Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)


Own reliable transport or ability to commute to Germiston
