Description:
An established organisation which manufactures electronic equipment for the mining industry has a vacancy for a Warehouse/Stores Assistant.
The successful Candidate will be responsible for supporting inventory control, managing repair logisitics and handling stock picking in a high-performance electronics mining environmnet.
Duties
Receive, sort, and pick stock.
Manage stock and inventory using bin locations.
Pick stock based on picking slips.
Label and pack items.
Packaging.
Perform cycle counts.
Book in repair items received from Clients and other branches and ensuring serial numbers are accurately recorded.
Process quotes and inventory transactions.
General administration.
Assist the Logistics Co-ordinator.
Health and safety compliance.
Requirements:
Matric.
A tertiary qualification would be an advantage.
Previous experience in a stores or warehousing environment.
Must be familiar with the MS Office suit (excel, word, outlook).
Knowledge of handling and storing electrical equipment.
Well spoken with attention to detail.
