Description:

Sales Representative (Internal sales)Our client in specializing in corporate gifting is on a recruitment drive for 2 x sales representatives to join their team.The ideal candidates must be self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: -Customer Relationship ManagementFollow up on deliveries, handle returns or complaints and ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently.Maintain a high level of professionalism and service to ensure repeat business.Provide timely and accurate product information, quotes, and pricing.Sales Order ProcessingCapture and process sales orders accurately in the company’s ERP or CRM system.Track orders through to delivery and ensure customer satisfaction.Coordinate with dispatch/logistics to ensure timely and correct deliveries.ð¹ Sales SupportAssist external sales representatives with customer communication, lead follow-up, and quote preparation.Support the development and implementation of sales campaigns and promotions.Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance tracking documentation.ð¹ Product Knowledge & UpsellingMaintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and industry trends.Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or alternatives.Upsell or cross-sell products to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.ð¹ Administration & DocumentationGenerate quotes, invoices, delivery notes, and related sales documentation.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.Ensure compliance with company policies and South African legal standards (e.g. VAT, POPIA).ð¹ Team CollaborationLiaise with procurement, warehouse, accounts, and other internal departments to ensure smooth workflow.Provide feedback from clients to management for product or service improvement.Customer Service & After-Sales SupportHandle incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential cust...   • Matric
  • 2-3 years sales experience
  • Excellent command of English and Afrikaans
  • Computer literate - MS Office
  • Own reliable transport (advantageous)
