About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing sector, is seeking a Senior SHEQ Manager with proven expertise in wheat and maize milling, dry goods, and food safety systems. This individual will play a pivotal strategic role, not only overseeing compliance and operational excellence, but also laying the groundwork for executive-level responsibilities in the near future.
This is an exciting growth opportunity for a professional with a strong SHEQ, Pragma, and ISO/FSSC22000 background, coupled with experience in client management, export markets, and FDA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
? Compliance & Systems Management
Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SHEQ and Quality Management Systems in line with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
Maintain a robust Pragma maintenance management system(similar system) integrated with quality and safety goals.
Ensure up-to-date knowledge and full regulatory compliance with both local and international standards.
? Quality Assurance & Food Safety Leadership
Oversee quality control across wheat and maize milling operations and dry goods production.
Conduct internal audits, drive continuous improvement, and lead root cause analysis and CAPA processes.
Ensure rigorous quality protocols and hygiene practices are implemented, monitored, and continuously improved.
? Client & Product Development Support
Engage directly with national and international clients to ensure product and quality expectations are exceeded.
Drive new product launches, ensuring food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance from concept to production.
? Export & FDA Compliance
Leverage experience in export markets to streamline product readiness for international distribution.
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and maintain documentation required for global certification and audit readiness.
