  • The successful candidate will manage all installations, repairs, preventive maintenance schedules, technician teams, and ensure optimal performance of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure. • Manage daily inspections and checklists to identify and resolve issues timeously
  • Coordinate technicians and allocate workload for optimal output
  • Oversee installations, repairs, and after-hour breakdown responses
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and all related documentation

  • Strategically plan repairs to control costs within budget
  • Keep accurate maintenance logs and job card records
  • Ensure health and safety, as well as food safety protocols, are enforced
  • Maintain effective communication between departments, stores, and service providers
  • Cultivate productive working relationships with internal teams and contractors
  • Lead with calm and authority in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Minimum Requirements:
  • Matric (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
  • Red Seal Millwright/Electrician
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance management role
  • Proven experience in managing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general factory maintenance
  • Experience working with meat processing equipment is highly advantageous
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and report on activity effectively
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Physically fit and able to work in a demanding production environment
  • Available for after-hour breakdowns and emergencies
  • Doing callouts when required
If you’re someone who knows how to keep the gears turning, fix problems before they escalate, and bring order to technical chaos — we want to hear from you.

Send your updated CV, Proof of Matric & Tertiary Qualifications/Red Seals , contactable references , and a recent head & shoulders photo
If you do not hear from us within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
