Our client manufactures, supplies and converts containers for a variety of applications, and they have a vacancy available for a Sales Manager in Spartan - Kempton Park area.1. Facilitating and providing direction on all rental and sales enquiries
2. Seeking out new container sales and rental business opportunities within the market
3. Facilitating the preparation of all quotations based on customer requirements
4. Overseeing and being responsible for all required paperwork for the finance department to process
sales/leasing invoices and purchase orders
5. Facilitating and being responsible for the completion of credit applications for the finance department
6. Overseeing submissions of all paperwork to the finance department and assisting with corrections in a
timely fashion to ensure the correct capture of sale items
7. Managing and expediting the delivery and collection (if required) of equipment to and from the client's premises
8. Liaising with the sales and operations staff of the company
9. Assisting with debt collection based on the debtor's age analysis
10. Assisting with the administration of the debtor’s accounts – invoicing, credit notes, account queries, checking references for credit applications, dealing with the bank for bank codes
11. Monitoring and tracking order numbers for equipment on sale items and ensuring that the correct order numbers
are used and updated for clients as required
12. Managing the region's sales and rental staff
13. Managing key accounts
14. Assist with “project” as and when required
Minimum Requirements:
1. A minimum of five years of experience in business management with an emphasis in sales,
production, project and operations management.
2. A relevant tertiary qualification is preferable (B Com, MBA, B Eng)
3. Proven skills in business and financial management.
4. Prior experience in fulfilling the role of a Capella: Senior Sales Executive
5. Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse organization.
6. Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team of staff members.
8. Effective problem-solving and mediation skills.
9. Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.
10. Proficiency with office computer equipment and software.
11. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office setting.
12. Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations.
Market-related salary with good Commission is offered.
