Description:
Our client is looking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Systems Engineer with a strong background in Windows Server Administration, SCCM, patch management, and VMware virtualization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incidents, service requests, and operational tasks related to the Windows server environment. This role demands a proactive individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our systems. The Required Tasks and Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following
Required Tasks: Manage and support Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022).
Handle day-to-day incident resolution and service requests related to Windows infrastructure.
Execute patch management cycles to ensure compliance and minimize security risks.
Maintain and manage VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi) – provisioning, snapshots, performance tuning.
Create and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations.
Participate in on-call rotations and planned maintenance windows as required.
Assist in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects and upgrades.
Requirements:
4–7 years of relevant experience in Windows systems.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Experience with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Familiarity with Windows patching
Hands-on experience with VMware.
AZ-801: Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services
AZ-802: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure
MCSE: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (or equivalent)
Familiarity with ITIL-based processes (incident, request, change management).
