What you'll do
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to ensure output and quality targets are met
- Build and execute production schedules that align with client orders and deadlines
- Drive efficiency improvements, minimise waste, and eliminate unnecessary costs
- Lead and motivate the production team, oversee training, and manage performance
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment
- Collaborate across departments - design, sales, procurement - to keep operations smooth
- Oversee maintenance and calibration of all machinery and tools
- Uphold quality control throughout every step of the manufacturing process
- Perform monthly stock takes and ensure precise ordering to avoid overstock or shortages
- Establish stock management controls that reduce shrinkage and boost traceability
- Track KPIs and generate actionable production and inventory reports
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to cut lead times and sharpen delivery

- 5+ years in a production management role within a manufacturing setup (HVAC/metalwork = a big plus)
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or similar
- Hands-on experience in aluminium fabrication is a strong advantage
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team development chops
- Expert-level planning and problem-solving under pressure
- Stock control and inventory management know-how
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices
- Tech-savvy with production planning software and MS Office
- Integrity, precision, and a process-driven mindset
