Senior Planner – Aircraft Maintenance
Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
Our client, a prominent airline based in Papua New Guinea , is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Planner to join the Continuing Airworthiness Management Group (CAMG). This role plays a vital part in maintaining the safety, compliance, and efficiency of aircraft maintenance operations through effective planning and coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage short-term and long-term maintenance forecasts for the fleet, including ATR and Dash-8 aircraft.

Compile and deliver accurate maintenance work packs to the MRO in accordance with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
-
Track and requisition critical parts, rotables, and consumables in advance to ensure timely maintenance execution.

Review utilization rates and adjust forecasts quarterly.

Assist with processing technical records and managing backlog as required.

Monitor deferrals closely and ensure proper tracking and reporting.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical records or aircraft maintenance planning.
-
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a similar environment.
-
Training or experience with IAS and RAAS systems is strongly preferred.

Proficiency with CAMP and other computerized aviation maintenance systems.
Knowledge
-
Familiarity with CAR Parts 91, 43, 119, 121, and 125.

Strong understanding of aviation planning functions and operational needs of a busy airline.

Hands-on experience in technical records management.
Skills & Attributes

High level of computer literacy and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
