Position: Financial Manager â Agriculture & Property ManagementOur client is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Financial Manager to oversee the financial and property management functions across their group of businesses, which includes farms, a restaurant, and various properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and property management, along with a solid foundation in financial leadership. Key Responsibilities:Financial Management:
- Preparation, analysis, and management of financial statements and budgets
- Cash flow management and cost control
- Ensure legal and tax compliance
- Manage audit processes
- Forecasting and financial risk management
- Screening and negotiating with potential new tenants
- Management of lease agreements for residential, commercial properties, and tower rentals
- Enforcing lease terms and handling rental collections
- Coordinating property maintenance and repairs
- Maintaining communication with tenants and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Qualification: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Agricultural Economics, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 10 yearsâ experience in financial management, preferably within the agricultural sector
- Property Knowledge: Experience in property rentals and management is a strong advantage
- Software Proficiency: Xero Accounting Software, SimplePay, Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and think strategically
