Role Overview
As a Sales Cold Call Agent, you will be on the front lines generating new business opportunities for Coast IT. Your core mission is to initiate contact with potential clients, pitch our services succinctly, and secure qualified leads for the sales team. This is a high-activity, metrics-driven role that demands resilience, confidence, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective business clients across various industries.
- Introduce Coast IT’s suite of services and articulate value propositions clearly.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule follow-up calls or appointments for Sales Executives.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, outcomes, and prospect data in CRM systems.
- Achieve daily and weekly call targets and lead generation quotas.
- Handle objections professionally and persistently pursue potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Stay updated on Coast IT’s services, market trends, and competitor activities.
Required Competencies
- Previous experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or call center environments preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a persuasive, confident phone presence.
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical and digital services.
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection without losing motivation.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort working with CRM software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Target-driven mindset with a hunger to achieve and exceed KPIs.
Qualifications
- Matric Certificate (minimum requirement).
- Prior sales or customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluent in English.
