A leading industrial equipment supplier is seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in Boksburg,Gauteng. Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within untapped or competitive markets.
- Conduct product demonstrations and present application-specific solutions to clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets by opening new accounts and expanding market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Provide detailed reports on market activity, trends, and competitor analysis.
- Travel nationally to meet clients, conduct presentations, and close deals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in forklifts, cleaning machines, or related industrial equipment.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to recommend tailored solutions based on client requirements.
- Proven track record of opening new accounts and driving sales growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, resilience, and a drive to develop new revenue streams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally as required.
