A leading industrial equipment supplier is seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Business Development Manager to join their team in Boksburg,Gauteng. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow new business streams within the capital equipment sector, focusing on floor cleaning machines, forklifts, and related industrial solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within untapped or competitive markets.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and present application-specific solutions to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by opening new accounts and expanding market share.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
  • Provide detailed reports on market activity, trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Travel nationally to meet clients, conduct presentations, and close deals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales, preferably in forklifts, cleaning machines, or related industrial equipment.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to recommend tailored solutions based on client requirements.
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and driving sales growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative, resilience, and a drive to develop new revenue streams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel nationally as required.
