We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lodge Manager to lead the operations of a remote, luxury safari lodge. The ideal candidate is passionate about exceptional guest service, team development, and sustainable hospitality practices. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily lodge operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery. Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team to deliver a personalized and memorable guest experience. Manage budgeting, stock control, financial reporting, and supplier relations. Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hospitality protocols. Handle guest relations with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. Collaborate with department heads (guiding, culinary, housekeeping, maintenance) to align operational goals. Drive and support sustainability initiatives and community engagement projects. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of lodge or boutique hotel management experience in a remote or safari environment. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Sound financial acumen with experience in lodge administration and reporting. Passion for wildlife, nature conservation, and authentic guest engagement. Ability to adapt to the challenges of remote living and logistics. Valid drivers license and willingness to work in a remote location. Hospitality diploma or relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
