Job Summary:The role involves managing and providing accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for vehicle and component production, ensuring smooth integration of engineering changes, and maintaining efficient supply chain communication to prevent production disruptions.
Key Responsibilities:
Convert Engineering BOMs (E/BOMs) to Production BOMs (P/BOMs). Assess and manage the impact of engineering changes. Coordinate introduction timing of changes with suppliers and production schedules. Manage new component requests to secure material supply. Implement and document temporary deviations to avoid line stoppages. Provide accurate BOMs to JIT/JIS/kit suppliers. Investigate and resolve BOM data queries. Requirements: Qualifications:
ND/Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or Data Science. Experience:Minimum 3 years in a logistics role within the automotive industry. Essential Skills:
Knowledge of Group Engineering/BOM systems and change processes. Familiarity with PEP, RPA, and project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Power BI), and SAP. Strong communication and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
