A position for a qualified Millwright has become available in the Food and Beverage industry in the Paarl area. Requirements:- Qualified Millwright with Trade Certificate.
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in food and beverage industry
- Ability to conduct maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- SAP experience
- Fault-finding and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act (safety legislation) is essential.
- Maintenance & repair of equipment
- Faultfinding
- Inspection of equipment
- Analyze proposed modifications and provide input
- Preventative maintenance activities
- Investigate and analyze the cause and effect of breakdowns on equipment
- Standby & attend to call-outs
- Stocktaking of maintenance consumables
- Compliance of H & S
- Read, interpret and understand electrical and basic mechanical drawings
- Ensuring compliance with OHS Act, Regulations and company safety rules.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant cGMP, FSSC22000 and company quality standards
- Identify where Quality and Safety matters can be improved
