Job Overview
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Financial Administrator
to join their dynamic team based in
Somerset West.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of key financial functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations. This role is vital in supporting the broader finance team and contributing to the organization’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process supplier invoices and manage supplier accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts and perform regular cash flow monitoring
• Assist in monthly management accounts preparation
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records
• Handle petty cash and staff reimbursement processes
• Support payroll processing and related documentation
• Liaise with auditors and assist in audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT submissions
• Support budget preparation and forecasting
• Collaborate with internal departments for financial alignment
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (office in Somerset West).
• Hybrid working model available, with flexibility based on performance
Requirements:
Requirements: Education, Experience & Skills• A qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field (Diploma or higher)
• 5-7 years' experience in a similar financial administration role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
