We are currently recruiting for a Lodge Anchor / Assistant Lodge Manager for a distinguished luxury lodge renowned for delivering world-class guest experiences in a stunning natural setting. As the Lodge Anchor / Assistant Lodge Manager, you will support the Lodge Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the lodge , with a primary focus on Food & Beverage, guest satisfaction, team coordination, and admin efficiency . Your role is to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and unforgettable stay, while also playing a critical role in nurturing a positive working environment for staff.- Guest Experience:
Deliver exceptional guest service with a warm, attentive, and professional approach. Engage with guests throughout their stay to ensure their experience exceeds expectations. - Food & Beverage Oversight:
Lead and support the F&B team in delivering top-quality dining experiences. Must be confident in food service, wine knowledge, and understanding luxury F&B standards. - Team Management:
Support the Lodge Manager in leading a diverse team. Promote a culture of respect, collaboration, and communication among all departments. - Administration & Reporting:
Assist with daily administrative duties including stock control, ordering, scheduling, guest billing, and staff rosters. Ensure all operational records are well maintained. - Operational Support:
Be a hands-on leader who can step in across departments as needed to support smooth operations. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff. - Problem-Solving:
Act as a key point of contact for guests and staff in the absence of the Lodge Manager. Must be calm under pressure and able to manage challenges with professionalism.
- We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced: At least 3–5 years in a senior supervisory or assistant management role in a luxury lodge or 5-star hospitality environment.
- Food & Beverage Focused: Must have a strong F&B background and be passionate about dining and service excellence.
- Guest-Centric: Naturally warm, welcoming, and confident with guests. A people-person who genuinely enjoys hospitality.
- Energetic & Positive: Bubbly personality, high energy levels, and a can-do attitude.
- Strong on Admin: Highly organized with experience in inventory, systems, and lodge operations.
- Team-Oriented: A natural leader and mentor who works well with others and encourages team cohesion and morale.
