We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join our B2B technology sales team. This role focuses on accepting and processing orders and quote requests from clients via telephone and email, while collaborating closely with the customer success team to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Order and Quote Management: Handle incoming client orders and quote requests via telephone and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Collaboration with Customer Success: Work closely with the customer success team to ensure quotes and orders are processed correctly and meet client expectations.
- CRM Maintenance: Keep the CRM system updated with accurate client information, interactions, and sales activities.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research potential B2B clients, identify decision-makers, and conduct cold calls to schedule meetings for the sales representative.
- Client Communication: Provide clear and professional communication to clients, addressing inquiries and offering basic technical explanations of our solutions.
- Technology Expertise: Leverage a solid understanding of technology to articulate the value of our products and services to B2B clients.
- Pipeline Support: Assist the sales team by qualifying leads and ensuring a steady flow of opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on order status, quote progress, and prospecting activities to sales leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an internal sales, customer service, or sales support role, preferably in a B2B technology or software environment.
- Cold Calling Skills: Experience with or willingness to learn cold calling techniques to generate leads and secure meetings for the sales team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional client interactions via phone and email.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools and proficiency with email and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, including orders, quotes, and prospecting activities.
- Education: Matric pass
