ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Millwright, you will be the backbone of our production operations, ensuring seamless facility performance through expert maintenance, installations, and system optimization. You'll work with cutting-edge equipment and technology while being part of a team that values precision, safety, and continuous improvement.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine and scheduled maintenance, attending to both electrical and mechanical systems, conducting fault finding and repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates at peak efficiency. You'll also be involved in new installations, modifications, and upgrades that keep us at the forefront of the industry.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education & Certification:
Millwright Trade Certificate (Section 13 with completed apprenticeship) Minimum N4 qualification in relevant field Wiremen's license will be advantageous PLC and VSDs certification and experience will be advantageousExperience:
Previous experience in an FMCG environment preferred Computer literacy: MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Key Attributes:
Strong team player with ability to work independently Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Willing to work shifts and overtime as required Fluent in English and an additional official language Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments Must have own reliable transport
