Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and skilled General Manager to lead our [Nakhla Tobacco South Africa] team. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations, managing staff, implementing company policies and strategies, and meeting business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and strategies in alignment with the overall business objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgets, revenue, and expenses, and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to grow the business and increase market share
- Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion and growth
- Resolve any operational, customer service, or employee issues in a timely and effective manner
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to inform business decisions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Valid drivers license with own car.
