Technical Insure Specialist

Renowned for their innovation, professional excellence, and commitment to empowering advisers, our client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Adviser to join their dynamic team based in Cape Town . Responsibilties

• Act as the subject matter expert and manage the large case review process, including presenting findings to senior management.

• Continuously evaluate and improve the large case process.

• Represent the organization in adviser-focused meetings and technical/distribution committees.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic distribution projects.

• Provide content and technical input for adviser support and marketing teams.

• Draft, review, and approve communication materials related to advice and distribution.

• Conduct due diligence on products and product providers.

• Offer ongoing technical advisory support to advisers and distribution teams.

• Produce technical content such as TakeNotes and Advice for Advisers .

• Represent the organization on various technical and product-related committees.

• Conduct research for ad hoc technical projects.

• Lead and manage a team of direct reports.

• Facilitate technical training for advisers, particularly in the Advisor Development Programme.

Requirements

• NQF5 qualification in Short-Term Insurance (or relevant equivalent).

• 7+ years’ experience in personal and commercial lines, with exposure to underwriting and claims.

• Deep knowledge of short-term insurance products .

• Proven experience engaging with senior/executive management .

• Direct experience working with financial advisers .
