Requirements:A Bookkeeping diploma or relevant qualification is advantageous Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-function bookkeeping Proven ability to manage books to trial balance and balance sheet Practical experience with VAT submissions and eFiling Experience with Pastel Evolution (or similar systems) strongly preferred Ability to perform under pressure and manage strict deadlines Strong multitasking, communication, and organisational skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Must have own reliable transport Key Responsibilities:
Maintain the complete bookkeeping cycle for 810 retail stores Process supplier invoices and manage payment schedules Capture and reconcile customer payments and bank statements Handle cashbook entries, credit card expenses, delivery service costs (Mr D, Uber Eats), and online transactions Perform monthly reconciliations of control accounts Prepare, reconcile, and submit VAT returns with supporting documentation via eFiling Capture food cost invoices and ensure alignment with supplier statements Load payments and manage bank submissions Maintain organised records through effective filing and audit preparation Provide admin support for new store openings and general store-related admin
