  1. Degree : The candidate must have a degree or three-year Diploma.
  2. Afrikaans : Due to the nature of our client-base as well as our sales script – fluent Afrikaans-speaking candidates will be preferred.
  3. Strong Leadership Skills : Ability to lead and motivate a team, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and support. 2+ years of leading a sales team is essential.
  4. Proven Sales Experience : Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets, preferably in a telesales company.
  5. Excellent Communication Skills : Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  6. Strong Analytical Abilities : Proficient in analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
  7. Results-Driven Mentality : A track record of being focused on achieving sales objectives and driving team performance.
  8. Team Management Experience : Prior experience in managing a sales team, including coaching, training, and performance evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and Manage : Supervise and manage a team of telesales representatives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to maximize their potential and achieve sales targets.
  2. Set Targets : Establish ambitious sales targets and develop strategies (with your team and management) to ensure their achievement. Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
  3. Train and Develop : Conduct training sessions to enhance the sales skills and product knowledge of the telesales team. Continuously coach and provide feedback to improve their performance and drive results.
  4. Monitor Sales Activities : Regularly monitor and evaluate sales activities, including call quality, conversion rates, and customer interactions. Implement monitoring systems and provide constructive feedback to improve performance.
  5. Provide Motivation and Incentives : Implement motivational programs and incentives to inspire the telesales team to exceed targets. Recognize and reward exceptional performance to foster a high-performance culture.
  6. Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies, identify market opportunities, and stay updated on industry trends. Contribute to the overall sales strategy and assist in its implementation.
  7. Reporting and Analysis : Prepare regular sales reports and performance analysis to track individual and team progress. Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Compliance and Ethics : Ensure adherence to company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards. Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and compliance within the team.
