Description:

A prestigious 5-star lodge/hotel is seeking a creative and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead the pastry kitchen and deliver exceptional desserts and baked goods. This is a key leadership role for a talented chef with a passion for innovation, quality, and presentation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the pastry kitchen, managing all dessert and bakery production
  • Develop and design creative, seasonal dessert menus aligned with luxury standards
  • Supervise, train, and mentor pastry staff to maintain consistency and quality
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control for all pastry-related supplies
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B management on menu planning and events
Requirements:
  • 4+ years’ experience as Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in luxury hospitality or fine dining
  • Formal pastry or culinary qualification preferred
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Innovative with a good eye for detail and presentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about culinary excellence and team development
