Description:
Lead and manage all procurement, supplier negotiation, shipment planning, and stock management functions to ensure cost-efficient purchasing, reliable product availability, and optimal stock performance in line with the company’s commercial and operationalobjectives. This is a strategic management role with direct impact on profitability, supply chain resilience, and operational efficiency.Responsibilities:
Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive terms and build strong strategic partnerships.
Plan and manage procurement, purchasing, and shipping to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Implement and maintain optimal stock levels to balance availability with working capital efficiency.
Oversee internal stock management processes to ensure accuracy, effective rotation, and operational alignment.
Provide strategic leadership, team development, and reporting to support business growth and supply chain performance.
Requirements:
ExperienceProven experience in procurement, supply chain, or stock management at a senior/management level.
Education
Matric - non negotiable
Procurement/ Supply Chain qualification advantageous
