Position: Construction ManagerLocation: Port Edward, Kwa-Zulu Natal
Reports To: Construction Manager
Minimum Qualifications
National Diploma (NQF6 or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety protocols, and civil engineering principles. Solid experience in the civil construction industry, particularly in roadworks or infrastructure projects. SANRAL project exposure is highly advantageous. Strong leadership, mentoring, and people development skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities. Well-organized with high attention to detail and a proactive approach. Willingness to relocate to project sites as required. Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day on-site construction operations, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards are consistently upheld. Mentor and train junior staff on construction techniques, work ethic, and professional standards. Enforce site discipline and foster a positive and respectful work environment. Provide hands-on technical support and practical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
