Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Cape Town-based finance team. This hybrid role will be split between payroll responsibilities and PL treasury work, and is ideal for someone detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with both internal teams and external contractors.
The accounts payable function.

Collate and process staff expenses.

Bank reconciliations (including credit cards).

Chasing and processing timesheets including timely downloads from client portals.

Verify and validate contractor expense claims.

Processing NSF’s (New Starter Forms for contractors).

Requirements:

Previous experience of preparing accurate and timely management accounts

Strong reconciliation skills and dealing with large data sets

Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Strong team player
