My client in the courier and logistics industry in the Airport Industry is looking to employ a POD Clerk is responsible for handling Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and ensuring accurate record-keeping of delivered shipments. Their role is crucial in maintaining accountability, verifying deliveries, and supporting customer service and billing processes.
Requirements:
- Logistics: 1 year or less
- Pod Clerk: 1 year or less
Key Responsibilities of a POD Clerk:

Receive, verify, and process delivery documents from drivers.

Check that PODs are correctly signed, dated, and contain all required information (e.g., recipient name, delivery time).

Capture POD details into the company's tracking or logistics system.

Update delivery statuses for clients and internal teams.

Maintain organized physical or digital records of all PODs.

Ensure easy retrieval of documents for auditing or customer queries.

Respond to client queries regarding deliveries.

Provide copies of PODs as proof for billing or dispute resolution.

Communicate with drivers regarding missing or incomplete PODs.

Ensure timely return and processing of delivery documents.
