Our client is a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-quality precast concrete products, proudly serving South Africas civil engineering, infrastructure, municipal, and construction sectors. Their product range includes manholes, stormwater pipes, sewer systems, cover slabs, culverts, and other infrastructure essentialsall built to meet stringent SABS standards.We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable External Sales Representative to grow their market presence, develop relationships with key industry stakeholders, and drive the sale of their concrete infrastructure products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of civil or construction materials and thrive in a customer-facing, solution-selling environment.
Key Responsibilities:
ð??¹ Client Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and engage with new customers in civil engineering, construction, municipal supply, and infrastructure development. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, contractors, consultants, Project Managers, and municipalities. Conduct site visits to assess clients' needs, offer technical support, and present suitable precast solutions. Promote the full range of their precast infrastructure products. ð??¹ Sales & Business Development: Prepare and present accurate quotations, tenders, and proposals. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence. Attend relevant industry events, expos, and site meetings to represent the company. ð??¹ Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with internal sales, production, and logistics to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Submit weekly sales reports, forecasts, and customer feedback to sales management. Ensure that all activities align with the company's strategy, quality, and client service standards.
Requirements:

Education & Experience: Matric (Grade 12) required Qualification or coursework in Sales, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar advantageous Minimum 35 years of external sales experience in building materials, civil supply, precast concrete, or infrastructure-related industries Proven ability to manage long sales cycles and key account relationships â??
