Job Description:Compile and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with IATF16949 and customer requirements Maintain the Plant Quality Manual and Procedures from the other departments Manage the Corrective Action for external customer complaints Co-ordinate that Plant Management Review Meetings are held as required Co-ordinate internal/external auditors during audit Promote quality awareness throughout the Plant Co-ordinate all documentation requirements Ensure that all quality controlled records are identified and maintained Manage and conduct all internal audits Ensure that all Customer requirements are met Assist all departments with Customer specific requirements as per quality agreements and requirements Continuous improvement of product quality and systems by analysing performance and implementation of corrective action/s when required Identify and implement continuous improvement areas to maintain agreed quality level of system and parts Overview of the core tool review process and inputs to the quality system Manage Customer requests and/or complaints Attend to all Customer requests and/or complaints and give necessary feedback as required within designated timeframes (containment and permanent corrective actions) Visit Customers regularly and as requested by Customer and/or Company Quality Representative Use Customer specific problem-solving methods (G8D) Manage any quality related customer systems and processes required Co-ordinate all improvement actions or problem solving between the departments and facilitate the 8D process Manage Quality Performance Indicators Ensure proper recording of all data required for quality performance indicators Compile weekly, monthly graphs Analyse and implement corrective/preventative action to maintain and improve all KPIs
Job Requirements:
National Diploma: Quality or National Diploma in Engineering. B-Tech Quality/City & Guilds Computer literate (Intermediate to Advanced MS-Office skills) Core tools Certification. Project Management Qualification. Manufacturing process knowledge coupled with mechanical and technical logic. Read and understand technical drawings and/or plans. 3+ years experience in quality in an automotive environment 2+ years experience in implementing and auditing quality system within an automotive environment. Assertiveness Problem-solving Time Management Communication Stop production when non- conforming product is made. Report any unsafe act and/or condition to HSEE Co-Ordinator.
